What is chroming?

If you don't want your budget to skyrocket or you find yourself in a desperate situation (without your makeup bag), chroming can be your great ally. With just one lipstick you can get a face worthy of professional makeup artists.

What lipstick do you have to use? A nude (or light pink) color, with a pearlescent or shiny finish . As explained by Loreal Paris, it is better to use creamy textures, as they blend more easily on the skin.

For fair skin, the most suitable tone is a pink glow, while for dark skin a light nude tone will enhance its luminosity.

Now that you have everything you need to illuminate your face, these are the steps you must follow to put chroming into practice:

• Apply your foundation (fluid or cream) and concealer first. Once this is done, it is time to apply the light points.
• Apply the lipstick directly to your skin in the following areas: the upper area of ​​your cheekbones, eyelids and the lower arch of the eyebrows.
• Blend the product with your fingertips  as your body heat will warm the product and it will be much easier to spread.
• Do not apply any other product on top of the lipstick, as your makeup will appear muddy.

Of course, if you have oily or combination skin, you should stop to think about the consistency of the lipstick that you are going to use, as it will accentuate the shine on your face. You can remove this extra fat with masks or scrubs. If you think that your skin will not resist lipstick well, you can do the technique with another product: the highlighter in compact powder format .
